Speech application: AlphaCell Licenses Speech Recognition Technologies from ART for Its Mobile Devices

AlphaCell, a provider of customized rich media mobile handsets has announced that it has signed a technology cooperation agreement with ART Advanced Recognition Technologies, providers of Human Interface technologies. The agreement will enable AlphaCell to port ART's innovative speech and handwriting recognition technologies into its new generation of mobile handsets. ART's advanced smARTspeak XG(TM), an embedded, speaker independent name dialling solution, and ART's simpliWrite software will be ported to AlphaCell's M5 handset. The M5 is a fully customisable mobile handset, which will be unveiled at the 3GSM conference between 17 -21 February 2003.
